Have passed poster to Newmarket vets and AHT, and to friend from Exning. Exning is not far from A14 where one fork of road goes down to London direction, might be worth checking Battersea and similar in case car driver picked up and handed in London end. Will be keeping a look out and fingers crossed for Max being fou nd very soon.

Have spoken to the owner and Max went missing from the garden. Dog Warden's and local vets have been notified, I have advised that vets are contacted further a field incase he has been picked up and handed in out of the area. Owner has been busy putting posters up and getting the word out that he is missing. Max should be featured in the local newspaper very soon. Stay safe Max xxx

Emailed advice. Sorry to see Max is missing. Someone will try and make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog & give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
