- Welcome home Meg. Great that she was returned, hope it wasn't purely for the reward, but whatever reason, great to see she is home :)

- Wow - what a story. Thank you to the finder for doing the right thing and returning Meg to her rightful owners, AND for driving her all the way to Scotland to take her home. Just shows what a great site Doglost is! Welcome home dear Meg - stay safe now xx

- Meg is home. Someone had picked her up locally, not far from her home, and took her back with him to Kent, without informing the authorities. This person found Meg on the internet on the fantastic site we call DOGLOST, after having kept her for 2 weeks and then decided to contact the owner, whose details were on our site. Photos were exchanged to verify that it was Meg, for sure, and the person who took her, drove up with her to her home today, and she is back with her owner now.

- it's been nearly two weeks without our Meg in the house. all these ups and downs - a dog found - may be her - not her... it's a torture!

- Possible sighting. Loch Ruskie at Aberfoyle. A family walking a dog that looked like Meg (a friend of mine said) round a lake where everybody leaves their dog run free. The wee dog was obviously not used to the lead at all. It might be the same family walking on our farm, when Meg got missing...

- thanks Shirley. great to know that somebody CARES! it's been a week now and we had no word from anybody apart from a lady seing her in Callander on the day of dissapearence... and that despite Meg being in Stirling observer twice, scottish Sun, local radio, scottish farmers facebook page, posters all around (schools especially), and £500 incentive.... weird. thanks a lot...

- yes, no sightings, which is very unusual.... for such a busy place like Callander, at the weekend. i suppose, we'll just keep looking, for Meg and Ellie as well.

- Unfortunately, the sighting was just an hour after she went missing and she has not been seen since.

- Good news she has been seen near this hotel. She is probably smelling food there. Put some food down in a quiet place nearby and top with pilchards. You need to home her in and keep her there. Good luck

- Goodness, why didn't the dog walker stop at the hotel and ask if they knew whose dog it was following him?
- 2010-08-24 10:31 Goldenfrodo
- Bumped Meg because of possible sighting. Good luck. Hope she's home soon.

- Received a phone call. Possible sighting in Callander at Dreadnought hotel/central car park on Saturday night, following a dogwalker up to the Ancaster road.

- Hi, I’m really sorry to hear that Meg is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. As soon as a photo is added mailings will be sent out to all local helpers who will help in the search for your dog. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
