SHADOW IS HOME ! Just had a call from Shadow's owner. He was picked up by a policeman at 1.30am this morning on the Aldenham Rd.Shadow has a scratch on his tummy a the top of his paw is sore,he will be going along to the vets later for a check up but otherwise he is fine. A BIG thank you to the policeman who found him & a big WELCOME HOME to Shadow.X

Thanks for your post CP. Shadow's owner is going to send me a photo asap. The found dog sounds like he has been on the run for a little while in the Glos, South West area & he is thin & limping but definately worth a check.

Have just spoken to owner. Posters are everywhere,vets DWs informed.Shadow was sighted on the Friday he went missing but has not been sighted since. When seen he was not limping so we hope he was not too injured by the car that clipped him. The area he is out in is wood & farmland so he is probably hiding up in undergrowth during the day & coming out to find food at dawn or dusk.I am going to send owner our help sheets plus some advice on scenting.

Sorry to see Shadow is missing and thank you for registering with DogLost. Can you please send a photo to admin@doglost.co.uk as soon as possible. If not already done so you need to contact Dog wardens, Rescues and Vets. Please try and personally visit Rescue Centres wherever possible. It is not always a good idea to rely solely on telephone calls. Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days so this is extremely important. It is also very important that you poster heavily. If at all possible please keep us updated with regards to who you have contacted and the areas in which you have postered etc. This can be done by using the + Add a comment feature. Good luck. Hope Shadow is safely home soon.
