Don't give up hope, dogs have been recovered after longer time than this. x

Its been ages since I posted here. We have had no more sightings for a while. I hope someone has taken Maggie in, if this is the case, we have to rely on neighbours or the people who have her to have a pang of guilt and let us know. It is very hard to know what to do next, I'm running out of ideas, except to keep postering. Ive emailed the local radio again.....they wouldn't do an airing for the last 2 weeks.

Still hoping for a positive outcome for you and Maggie.xxx

Hi Liz.....I had to change my phone and lost you're number. It would be nice to talk to you sometime, but can you text me so I can retrieve your number? Thanks x We are still hanging on for another positive sighting of Maggie, I dont know where to look at the moment. Poor love, I wish she would go to someone....yes I know, she may already be 'adopted'

I was advised to let people know that Maggie won't go to anyone she doesn't know. Someone may have the right way about them to encourage her to them, who knows. Phoning either us or the dog warden is best. I go to Forest Lodge twice a week, they also have her poster up. Its been a month now......

I'm still thinking of you, and check the site every day. Don't blame yourself! When my dog went, I was out having a drink, and she actually crossed the main road and came to the pub I had left about 5 minutes before she got there. I hope you get good news soon, if I can help in any way, please ring me. Take care, Liz

Oh! Lillymoon its not your fault this could happen to anyone. So you know where she was 'lost' so she is probably lying low so you need to Poster Poster Poster so everyone knows she is missing then stake out the area and do scenting. She knows the sound of your land rover so hopefully she will return to where she went (they often do ) if she has been pick up another good reason to Poster Good LuckLast edited: 2010-06-30 00:15:10 by Reynard

Maggie jumped out of the Landrover window while I helped get a pushbike out of the back. It must have spooked her. I didnt realise she was missing till I got to my daughters. When the dogs are lying down in the back they cant be seen. I had taken it for granted they were both there. I am responsible and feel lousy that I didn't check. They have never tried to leave the Landrover without being told. A big lesson in reminding me that dogs can be unpredictable.

I'm hoping I can post now. Thanks to everyone who has posted, put posters out for us and told us of sightings. We were out yesterday eve around Caroline Chisum school, a lady had seen a black dog at 6am that morning. We had no luck as many hours had passed by the time we were made aware. We have been round the area today and put more posters up. Everyone we see in East Hunsbury knows Maggie by name now and asks if we are still looking for her.....its a close community so any news will get back to us. I have rung the travelers' liaison officer. They know about her. Back out to Forest Lodge on Monday, the owner was very nice when she saw me on Thursday. She came out specially when I got there.

I saw a dog that looked just like this yesterday morning. A car was parked in a gate entrance on Landmore Road Brackmills. Just up from the roundabout at Gowerton Road. It was about 10:30am Saturday. I didn't pay attention so can not be sure if it was even teh same sex. Just remembered the head shape and that white flash on the chest.

As I know her litter sister looks just like Maggie try & take her out & about with you as much as possible & ask people if they've seen a dog just like her.

I've sent the link to this page to a friend of a friend who lives in your area, & have printed a poster for the very busy shop where I work in Kettering, about 15 miles away. Make sure you ring Forest Lodge every day & visit when you can. Make a nuisance of yourself. My friend's dog was in there & not recognised.

Hi, I rang you this morning to tell you about Dog Lost.Yes, do phone Forest Lodge every day, also, I rang all the vets, and emailed them a picture, because some vets don't check for a chip. Go to places that people walk their dogs, and just chat to them. Lots of luck. If I can help with anythging, please let me know. Cheers, Liz
