I seen a dog similar to this in manchester dogs home today, didnt manage to see if his tail was missing though. x

Thanks for the emailed poster. I have sent it out to; Local Newspapers (Bolton Evening News/Bury Times & Lancashire Telegraph) Local Vets (Armac, Pennine, Vets 4 Pets) as all have several branches in the surrounding area. Also emailed out to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary. Bolton Animal Sanctuary are not contactable by email but visits there would be better to be honest. Will see what else I can come up with & keep you updated.

Thanks jdh-187, you are a star and thanks for the email, I will send you a poster a.s.a.p. I did not get home work until late and doing various size posters at the moment for another dog. Bob's owners have contacted all the right people. Hope they manage to get him in any papers they can, great way to spread the word and get results. Jan x

OK I've printed posters from the link above (would still like email poster to send on though pls) and up in the Co-Op in Bromley Cross who couldn't do enough to help. The newsagent across the road however charged me to display it (have paid for 2 weeks - heartless gits!), I'll do more shops when they are open tomorrow. Am I stating the obvious - have the owners been in touch with the dog warden & local animal shelter?

Had a reply from owner, Bob is still missing, there have been no sightings of him. Family are postering, I've suggested again they try the papers, little Harvey Lab pup in BL2 was reunited last week through being in the paper. Rescues also need to be visited at least once a week. Owner is going to try and send some more pics of Bob. I will put him forward for CMW. Jan x
