Brilliant news. Reminds me of lurcher Merlin lost on the M25 three years ago, and found (also by a kind lady) two weeks later in Leatherhead. Welcome home dear Sasha, and thank you to the kind lady who found you. No more running off now xx

Welcome home Sasha and well done to the kind lady who found the scared girlie and took her to the vets. Also a big well done to MJ and her gang of walkers for looking for an owner and matching Sasha on the missing page (at last a reunited MJ xx) And to the DW who took Sasha straight home from the vets. A lovely story, found in the nick of time xx

Owner has just contacted me again to say that Sasha has been found in Esher Common. She has been seen by a vet and is fine, although she's lost a lot of weight. This is such brilliant news and I'm so relieved as I've been really worried about this girl. Stay safe now sweetheart.  Barbara xxx

I have a suggestion if you know the area where you think she might be. I started trying this just tonight in hopes of luring Sarafina out and got the idea from a lady who used to work with doglost. Take a BBQ, I bought one of those disposable ones. Go to the area and light it and put some meat on it. I am putting mince on mine. Do this at dawn and at dusk, which is when they come out to eat (or so I've been told). Angie, the lady who gave me this information, said she has had some very successful results with this. If and when Sasha comes out, talk quietly to her so you don't scare her, especially if she is hurt even a little bit. No eye contact and don't jump up and run up to her. Stay low and let her come to you. Stay calm. I completely understand how you feel, my Sarafina has been missing for almost 3 months and I have had sightings but she has always been at least 1-3 steps ahead of me. But we need to be patient when doing something like this. Also scent the area. Good luck. I hope you get her home real soon and to the vet to check her out. xx

If it's Sasha that's been seen near Thorpe Park, do you think she might be "holed up" near one of the reservoirs? It'd be fairly quiet around there and she might be lying low if she's been hurt.

Contacted owner. Part of email received from her. I was lucky enough to be contacted by a woman who saw her within an hour of her going missing. This lady told me Sasha was on the M25 between Jct 10-12 and saw her get hit by a car. So we have all been expecting the worst. Since then however we have had reports of sightings of a black and white dog near thorpe park within the week. This is a little promising, but either way whether she hopefully is alive or not we would like to know!!
 
We have contacted all dog wardens in the surrounding area, the highways patrol who are looking into it, even to look on cctv for us, and all vets and RSPCA units we can think of.  It seems now it is just a waiting game!!   I hope Sasha is found very soon.   Barbara x

This dog cause a rolling road block on the M25 but then ran off in the direction of the A3 so she could be anywhere in this area please help poster and keep a lookout for her as it is such a busy area stay safe sasha
