Just seen the update on SafeNSound Pound Dogs fb page and have now uploaded the lovely REUNITED pic onto Kilo's page which we all love to see.
Way to go to the Halo Scanner which has proved many times what a great bit of kit it is, all down to Nick who founded it.

Reunited after 5 years! A HALO Scanner, donated to Safe And Sound and given by us to a kennels with whom we work very closely, has today enabled the kennel manager to reunite a staffie cross called Kilo with his overjoyed and grateful owner. He had come in as a stray - but when scanned, the HALO Scanner indicating a "missing" alert which had originated with Dogs Lost, as the owner had reported him missing. After a few phone calls to them (and some further digging by them as some details were out of date) the owner was able to be contacted, and she collected Kilo today.
Without that alert the owner may never have been found as she was not from that area and they would never have matched up the Dogs Lost details. Here's a link to the Dogs Lost entry and a pic of Kilo with his owner:
