There is a 3yr old golden lab ("Jasper") at Second Chance Animal Rescue - scarc.co.uk. Worth a look.

Owner has just rung to say the dog at Springfield isnt Ben sadly ( it is microchipped to Batley) though is a male and was a good likeness.  They have received the message re the one at Babbington and are checking that one out  THANK YOU !!! Owners mum has been over from Hull this weekend checking the stray kennels in person There has been no news re the stolen vehicle from the police yet so please do look out for Ben in ANY area where a similar dog has been picked up as any prospective matches are really appreciated.

There is a golden Labrador at West Yorkshire Strays, can't see what sex it is, added yesterday, but they have not updated their gallery since Jan 24th before that

Have spoken to owner and contacts I sent have been received and owners have been in contact with the dog wardens around radius  Manchester - York - Hull  - Sheffield including the smaller towns  in between in case Ben is picked up out of the area Stray kennels:. Mount Pleasant, Springfield and Fleet Kennels have been checked . Have contacted various rescues in case Ben turns up.  Rochdale Dog Rescue are aware are also looking out for Ben and crossposting to people they know. THANK YOU  RDR!!  Beechwood Vets, Leeds (group practice - centralised computer system) are also aware of Ben in case taken in there.

I have e mailed Bens poster to all my dog walking friends in the area, I will put a couple of posters up at Oakwell Hall as a lot of people walk their dogs there.  Liz

Have spoken to owner...  Ben was in the van which was stolen from Drighlington area.Unfortunately Bens owner was working in Leeds and doesnt live locally but he has been back over to the area and put posters up.  Ben isnt chipped but does/did have a collar and tag with owner contact number.  The police have obviously been notified and a CRN obtained. Leeds dog warden has also been informed and they have checked with Mount Pleasant Kennels. owner couldnt get hold of Bradford dog warden over the weekend so will be contacting them Monday morning.    I have given details for Springfield Kennels, and Fleet Kennels at Bradford and am emailing more information. Owner will get a photo into admin asap so we can get posters done. Because of the circumstances we also discussed checking further afield in case Ben is picked up out of the area. I hope this boy is found quickly -- Keep safe Ben !  xx
