Dekkaann, the dogs were stolen from a big open yard which sells second hand goods. The dogs are very friendly and NEVER EVER leave the premises. At first, knowing Jack Russells like I do, I took this with a pinch of salt but I now know this to be true. They have definitely been stolen.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

what sad people there are who would be so cruel. A friend went through just the same and even parted with money to one such hoaxer!  I was wondering what sort of work place the dogs went from, do we know?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It makes me very angry and feel so much for owners when this happens. It is so cruel.  It happened to an owner I was helping - I wont say what I would like to do to hoax callers  and it is a dilemma when publishing contact details   --   but the contact numbers need displaying on posters as more often than not there are genuine people who find the dogs and are then then able to contact the owners. Am sorry the owners have had to go through this but hope they are reunited very soon. Helen xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We do not know if this was a real sighting, as I now know that the owner had a call late last night from someone who said thay had a dog identical to Sam in their garden. They described the markings and the scars around his eyes and even shouted his name, then saying that he comes to that name of SAM. This person  had the owners travel for many hours, late last night to Tilliecoultry to collect the dog, only to find there was no such address and no dog. How sick can some people be?? This is just another very cruel hoax, by lowlife scum who have a very sad life, if this gives them pleasure. Perhaps they will not feel so good when their late night call is traced by police, which it will be. If they have the dog and come forward soon, they can save themselves from arrest, of course. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
