Heidi, my heart brakes for you and I can't imagine the pain that you are going through. It sounds like you gave Rufus the best 8 months of his life and I hope that in time your pain eases. I am glad that you now know what happened to your gorgeaous boy and are not still wondering although just wish the outcome was very different. Love to you all. xxx

thank you so much for all the messages you have sent to us, we are heartbroken and cant believe it, we went to see him yesterday at our vets and he looked so peaceful, just like he was asleep, he still had his stick in his mouth when he was removed, he was still playing right to the end.  we have been back today to where we found him and placed a beautiful colourful wreath there, he was such a colourful character, and we miss him terribly and always will but im sure in time we will find peace - we would like to say a very special thank you to Wicked Weims for you constant and loving support xxxx

I am so very sad to hear this tragic outcome for Rufus and my thoughts are with you at such an awful time. Kate( Wicked Weims) has told me how very hard you were trying to find your gorgeous boy and how much she wanted you to find him and I can only begin to imagine how you must be feeling. Just Had a call from Rufus mum Unfortunatly the lovely boy was found drowned in a lake near his home this morning,
I am devistated to hear this as his mum and dad have worked so hard trying to get everyone to loo for this lovely boy,I am in bits cause I know how much they lved there boy,\nd had given him a chance of a wonderful forever home

As this is on the borders of 3 Counties, owner needs to contact Herefordshire and Worcestershire Council's dog wardens and also the Hereford and Worcester Rescue Centre where stray dogs are taken. Have put poster in my vet in WestHerefordshire but someone needs to do South Herefordshrie and the Forest of Dean areas.

Thank you wickedweims for getting in touch with owner, as you know the breed it was a great help.
The area Rufus went from was a Hotel Grounds & Golf Course so please look out for this lad & if you can put up a poster or two please.

Owner has done  a great deal and contacted all the right people,,,,still waiting to hear which area Rufus went from in Tewkesbury.
