Cid has been found ! Had a very excited phone call from Katie owner to say that they received another phone call from one of the posters given out, that he had been seen. They rushed over there with  the other dogs in tow and he was running around a field, and just came over to them. He is now asleep in his bed, love him. Hopefully we may get a reunited piccie !  Well done owners for the postering, and welcome home Cid - you lovely lucky boy xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to owners who are out searching. They are staying at relatives house and have lost Cid about two miles away from where they are staying. He would not know his way back as was taken via car. He lives in Cambridgeshire, so wont be able to find home either. Was let off in the forest with relatives dogs, who all came back, but he did not, and its beleived he was on the scent of something. Sightings suggest he is still in the area and travelling in the traditional triangle trying to find owners, who are walking other dogs in the area. Given advice re setting up a base camp for Cid to find, with scenting, clothing, bedding, food and water, and this should give him somewhere to focus on. Lots of posters and flyers going out, and dog warden, and rangers have been notified. Hopefully Cid will find the safe place and be home soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
