Brilliant news - Boris is back where he belongs ...  I'll go and take down the posters that I have put up...  If you need me to ring any of the vets to let them know please ask  -  it will save them looking suspiciously at every young lab that comes in !!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Boris has been found!! It's a bit difficult to find out everything that has happened to him since he was stolen but the person who ended up with him took him to the vets because he has an ear infection. Fortunately the vet new all about him and contacted the owners. Thanks very much to Godiva Veterinary Practice for remembering Boris. You've made Mariusz and Marta very very happy!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi this is terrible how people will take puppies; esp when the dog is clearly someone elses. My mum lives on the foleshill road near the Ricoh arena and I have told her. Also I work at the grooming parlour in dark lane Bedworth, if you want to drop in a poster in we are currently closed until the 4th of Jan but we always display them and are customers always take notice. Hope you get him back, but I didn't find the dog warden very helpful when my Sky went missing so I would try other methods; I know it sounds silly but the more people you tell does seem to get results someone must know something. Jnet Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters emailed out so far: Coventry Dog Wardens, Birmingham Dogs Home, Radford Veterinary Surgery (also known as Broad Lane Vets, Pet Vaccination Clinic, The Regent Veterinary Group, The Veterinary Centre ( Godiva Referrals), Bell and Partners Vets. Witherley Kennels only take unwanteds for rehoming when their 7 days are up but have my details in case Boris turns up there. Bush Vet Centre's number is coming up unavailable, so maybe they've closed down? Rookery Kennels don't have email and wouldn't take details!!

Owners please check Birmingham Dogs Home 0121 643 5211 regularly as dogs picked up in CV postcodes will most likely end up there. Also check Coventry City Council web site http://www.coventry.gov.uk/ccm/content/city-services-directorate/public-protection/animal-welfare/pets-reunited.enLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What is wrong with people! Stealing dogs is a disgusting thing to do. Fingers crossed the cctv reveals these people and Boris gets reunited with his owners. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to Boris' owner. He has reported the theft to the police, and has a crime number. He has disturbed intruders in his garden under cover of darkness several times recently, and wonders if they are connected to Boris' theft. Boris was stolen from outside the local corner shop. There are security cameras outside the shop, and the owner is hoping they will reveal who took Boris. The owner would appreciate any help from volunteers in his area. He is very worried as Boris is due for his vaccination at the vets.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
