Thank you Shirley4Valgrays. I have spoken to Rex's owner. Rex wasn't chipped by them but they feel he was stolen & so will check this out as Rex could well have been chipped since being taken,you never know. Still awaiting photo,hopefully this will be on site soon.

FOUND - handed into Reading (Berks) vet 1.12.09. after being attacked by another dogblack Labrador type???. He is microchiped to an address in Portugal but enquiries have failed to trace owner. Poster displayed in the area have also failed to get a response.
Any information please make urgent contact with Gill or Sooz (Dog Warden Service) on either 0118 939 0251 or 0118 939 0564 (9am-5pm Mon - Fri).

Thanks Labradorloopy. I have just been in touch with Rex's owner. Rex went missing from his garden. His collar was left in the garden & there is a gap in the fence that he might have got out of. It could also be that Rex has been stolen. A photo of Rex will hopefully be up on site by the weekend.I have advised owner & will be sending more info sheets via email. Will also change the date missing to 28/11/09.

Hi, should date missing be 28th Nov? where exactly did he go missing and under what circumstances? I live Edgware/Mill Hill borders, happy to help here. Inform local vets - Manderville, Whitchurch Lane, Wellpet, Edgware way, Medivet, Apex Corner. Also dog warden for Barnet and Harrow. Nearest rescues are N.A.W.T in Tylers Way, Watford or R.S.P.C.A in Ridge, Shenley. I walk in Edgwarebury Park with lots of others, we can poster etc. Let me know. Good luck.
