Have you tried Rosedene Kennels?  Slightly out of your area but worth a look in case your dog was stolen and dumped http://www.rosedenerescue.webs.com/ They do scan dogs for microchips but have several dogs there whose microchip details are out-of-date

Sadly the found dog is not chipped and has too much white on his front to be Diesel. So sorry.

Message and photos received in admin - will look at the photos now, and may switch the existing one. :-

We have tried all the authorities and local dog kennels and put up posters in the local area and shops we have also looked for him everyday for a week but have run out of things to do. He is a black long legged staffordshire bull terrier he has a white chest and little bits of brindle in him to he is 6 years old. he went missing through the fence in my sisters garden in cannock staffordshire on the 21 oct 2009. Hope these pics are better thanks
