Just had one very happy owner on the phone and am pleased to say Joe is home. Julie has worked so hard to find this little fella and today she had a chance meeting with a taxi driver who knew where he was. He was returned to her two hours later and is now safely back home with his mum. Julie has kindly offered a donation which will be on it's way soon.

I can help poster in Morley which isn't far from Ossett if you haven't already got someone. Haven't had chance to check all comments but has anyone contacted Springfield Kennels in Ossett where they take council strays?

Owners word doc poster received in Admin with a full body shot of Joe (not that clear), i've converted to a jpg and merged the head shot photo into it for the DL poster.  Good luck in finding Joe.  Jan x

I'm in Leeds and would be happy to help poster. Did he go missing from Ossett as I know a boxer went missing in Rodley recently. Just wondered if his home is in Ossett but he was being looked after in Rodley?

Joe was staying with someone while owner was on holiday. He was taken out for a walk with other dogs but didn't follow them up the drive when they arrived home. He was seen running past end of drive by his minder who immediately ran after him. There was a Leeds registered taxi parked just up the road. Minder knocked on the window of taxi but the driver just drove off. Minder thinks she saw a white dog in the footwell. Owner is trying to contact all taxi companies in Leeds. A young Boxer has gone missing from the same area very recently. Any local help to poster in the Leeds area would be appreciated.

There are two jack russell/x on the lost dogs yorkshire site at the moment. Sorry but the tri coloured dog on the link given below is a female and does not have the same facial markings as Joe. The other dog on the site does not match his markings either. This is NOT to say Joe may not be at the kennels as the photos are not updated on a daily basis and owners need to check or as they live in  area is where the kennels are it may be easier to go and check personally as often as they can to check he is not there. Hoping for some news of Joe very soon xx Pam
