Could the owners of Laddie please contact the finder of dog 21557 .. they state an older sheepdog has been found (sadly no photo), but it has a large white ruff they put the dog at 13 years, but Laddie could be looking older after time away from home .... it would be so brilliant if it was him ..  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Laddie is still missing so please do keep looking out for him.   I have been in contact with owner regularly as they do not have computer access themselves but friends are checking.  Owner had a call from a lady who said she had sighted a very dirty collie in Harrogate on Friday 13th November, Kings Road area and not far from a dog walking area The lady was on a bus at the time but was good of her to make contact.  Owner went down yesterday (Saturday) to check the area and put out more posters near the sighting.   Keeping my fingers crossed there is another sighting.   Helen xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a handsome lad he is. BC's are clever at getting home and looking after themselves when out.  Is there anywhere on the Moor he may have fallen into? I do hope you find him soon...

email received and photo of lovely Laddie now uploaded. :- Thank you for getting in touch.
I have attached a photo of Laddie and a copy of the poster we have been distributing, having contacted dog wardens, pubs, vets and anyone else we could think of.  He is a 9 year old experienced working sheep dog, wearing a collar but not tagged in any way.  He was out on Blubberhouses moor (nr Otley, West Yorkshire) as part of the sheep gather, but when the shepherds came in, he did not return.  We’ve been out on the moor calling and searching, as well as contacting everyone we can think of, but so far have had no success in finding him.  My phone number is 01943 880202.
Thank you for any help you can give us.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
