There has been no luck in finding Missy, so far. We did have a false alarm where someone said they saw her but it turned out to be a different dog. I hope she is safe somewhere.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I`ve been postering the town and letting as many people as I can know that she`s still missing, her owners are putting ads for her return on as many internet sites as they can.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Picked up posters today, have started putting them up  tonight, take aways, shops and the petrol garage at my end of town have all taken them, have given a few into Irvine police station and they`re going to take them to other stations around North Ayrshire.  A friend of ours works at the Shewalton Woods Missy disapeared from and he has taken a pile of posters to put up in his work and around the woods, I`ll take more out when I can arrange a lift to get there. Missy`s owner spoke to the Irvine Herald today and was told they will put her story in this Wednesdays paper. A local man called Missy`s owners to see if she had been found yet, and has offered to keep an eye out for her.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Missy`s posters are ready, I`m going to pick them up and put them around town in shops and dog walking areas, Petsearch put a picture of Missy in this weeks column with a line about where she went missing from and the paper are going to do a bigger story on how she went missing. Easywalkers are also going to put the story into their next edition. Her owners are doing all they can to find her and bring her home, they have been putting ads on gumtree, preloved and other ad sites.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Am waiting to hear from owners when I`ve to collect poster and flyers from printers as they are arranging them with a company local to me. I spoke to journolist at my local paper today and Missy is going in petsearch column this week with a picture and they were going to try and get the story into this weeks paper but it goes to press today so if they cant make the deadline it will be next Wednesday before it can go to print.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I`m just in from Shewalton woods, no sign of Missy but its a really big area, I spoke to cyclists (as its a cycle track too) and dog owners I met, they are all going to keep an eye out for her. I`ll go back again when I get some posters to put up.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That's a great a help Piper's mum. Are there any helpers in the Irvine area who could help to search and put up posters? I can send posters and fliers by email to anyone who can help to do this. We need posters up in vets, petshops, fast food shops, shops, supermarkets and parks. Please contact me at sable77doglost@gmail.com or sukiatdoglost@gmail.com for posters to be sent to you. Owner would be very grateful. This wee cutie needs to be found and back in her home - Wales - and in fact may have been picked up locally. Someone may have her not knowing that her owners are desperate to find her. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Missy`s owners live in Wales and were in Irvine working, they`re home now so I`m going to deal with looking for Missy up here. Have told owner to contact farms and Estates in the Shewalton area and on Monday contact dog warden and our local paper to try and get the story in next weeks paper. I am going to the woods today to look for Missy and anyone who can help me please contact me on 01294 232043, the owners are going to get a local printers to make posters and I`ll put them around area when they`re ready.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
