Gorgeous new reunited pic of lovely Barney and his two body guards. I love the way he has he ball in his mouth. Thank you so much for sending it, and for staying on as helper Claire. Email received :- Thanks Hazel - I will keep an eye out for missing dogs in Coventry and can help out with posters ...  I can't believe how many dogs go missing each day.   Please find attached a re-united picture of Barney with 2 happy children...   Thanks again for all your help and keep up the good work.   Claire  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Claire Bear, I'm so happy to hear the good news that handsome Barney is back home. A big thank you to the kind people who did the right thing in returning him to you. I also hope that they find themselves another furry companion to share their lives with as there are so many dogs in the many, many rescues throughout the country looking for good homes. Also, ellejay, nice to see you posting on DL as it's people like you, and now Claire Bear, who have had to go through that awful feeling of dread and anxiety when dogs 'go missing'. Welcome home Barney and make the most of all the extra fuss and TLC!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Claire Bear - what wonderful news !! Just read your email ! how lucky you were to get him back, and thank you so much to the people who bought him and did the right thing in ringing you when they saw a poster. I'm so pleased he is safely back home with you. Also thank you so very much for offering to stay on as helper. Please do- and feel free to post on any other dogs pages and offer advice. It would really help us when we are stretched to the limits with so many missing dogs. Having been there yourself, and gone through it, I'm sure you will know what to advise others. All that remains now is to say - welcome home gorgeous Barney, and can we have a reunited piccie please? xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

YIPEEEEEEE  My gorgeous Barney has come home...  He was sold to someone who then saw one of the many posters we had put up and he contacted us...  It's true that you can never put enough posters out there... People do look at them.  What a fantastic feeling - never give up hope...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Sue - I have reported him to the Birmingham Dogs home and the lady I spoke to has since joined my Missing Dog Barney group on facebook.  It has also been suggested that I contact the Solihull dog warden as he may have headed that way so will try them on Monday morning.  Thanks again for your help and concern.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Claire Bear, dogs from CV go to Birmingham Dogs Home, New Bartholomew Street, Birmingham, B5 5QS
Tel: 0121 643 5211
They have their own data base so ask for Barney to be put on.  I will do him an advert in The Countryman's Weekly as soon as possible.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Still no news or sightings of Barney.  I keep going back daily to where we lost him.  He is a friendly dog who will go up to people so I'm just praying that someone will find him soon.  I've put up posters all around the area and in main shops so just playing a waiting game now.  Have got as many people aware as I can through facebook and have set up a group.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
