I have been advised that the poster will be printed in Dog Training Weekly on 23rd October I  have also linked the poster to his listing on the Valgrays website so people can download a copy of the poster detail if they wish. I have also added his poster details to the obedience UK site.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Max has appeared on loads of dog forums (including obedience and working trial forums)  and I have just sent a message to Dog Training Weekly magazine to publish his details in their magazine.

I hope his original owner comes forward. Being involved in obedience I know that I or others would have been instantly aware if this could have been a missing or stolen obedience competition dog.  Sadly no one has come forward to say they may know the dog or previous owner.  I hope Dog Training Weekly magazine publish his details and this might jog a memory.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I don't seem to be able to print out a poster. My Daughter in law and Grandaughter do obedience and agility and I could give them a poster to take to their clubs and the different venues they travel toLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

DO YOU KNOW THIS DOG? Max came from a Rescue Kennel by Inverness, Scotland. His new owner is not in a position to keep him. Max is Black & White, entire, farm bred Border Collie / Working Sheepdog about 22 inches, not micro-chipped, could be between 4 and 6 years or older, he is fit and appears healthy. When this dog came to be assessed for Training Classes (he has some issues) we found he was Competitive Obedience Trained, used to working in a hall & knows all exercises up to about Class A, to a very good standard. This dog could have attended classes anywhere in the country and been lost /stolen and ended up at the top of Scotland or his owner could have moved tothe area from away and then lost him (he has not been reported missing, as far as we know). He has been in kennels for about 8 weeks. He may have had other homes in between. If you think you know this dog or want more info please contact Sian Jones Tel 01631 720516 or email sian@sianworthbordercollies.co.uk PLEASE CROSS POST OR CIRCULATE TO CLUBS AND DOGGY FRIENDS  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
