Mika has to go back to her foster home, where she was when she went misiing, until her health checks are all over, but a home is waiting for her after this. Yes - it is a bit of a mystery how she got all the way over to Second Chance in such a short time. She must have been picked up almost immediately she went missing, and moved on. Although her chip had been changed by Blue Cross she was still under her old owner's details after THREE weeks. This is not good. After all we all have to pay to have details changed on the dog's chip, and it is not really acceptable to still have the old details when scanned, after THREE weeks. Her previous owner was not in the least bit interested what had happened to her. What great news that a GOOD home is awaiting this lovely girl.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Mika is a Blue Cross foster dog and when I sent out posters to all the rescues last night after getting Mika's details, Second Chance kennels called in to Doglost to say that they had her, and have had her since last Sunday. Someone dropped her off there. I have informed the person who was handling all this and she is sorting out the details about getting her back. She has to finish off her health checks etc. But --- the good news is that Second Chance has a good home waiting for her when this is done. This has made my day.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have contacted owner to offer advice. This beautiful girl was in a foster home and had been recently spayed 2 weeks ago, when she ran off while off lead and has not been seen since. There has been a report of a male seen with a similar dog, so please look out for her. It looks like someone has picked her up.She has come from a bad home and was in foster while looking for her forever home, so this is the last thing she needs.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
