These little girls have been away from home for a year today! We haven't given up on them - please keep looking out for them. x

Still no news on this pair,  unfortunately their mum has had a few crank calls and a couple of possibles that turned out to be either wrong breeds or boys.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just had a long chat with Ditty and Darty's mum,  the two taken to Wood Green were JRT so not them.  She is doing everything possible still.  Postered all the local villages, shops etc and is now putting up still missing posters.   I hope somebody spots them soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I would think Wood Green is the most likely,  there's not anything in St Neots itself.   I hope its them! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I know Lodge kennels takes in strays(well used to) also there is a kennel down the A1 south from Huntingdon (cannot remember name, sorry) but i would say within 15 minute drive from Huntingdon so maybe worth a visit?? (But it is on the Northbound side of carriageway) Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Lee - Wood Green Animal Shelter is very near to St Neots 01480 830014 and Lodge Kennels at Baldock is not far either 01462 730464. There is also Heathlands Animal Sanctuary, Royston Tel: 01763 244488 or 01223 207823 which is also near St Neots. I hope its them, and you find them. Can you not ring back, and see if you can trace this man and speak to him directly, to find out exactly where he took these dogs? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pep Paks at Harwick rang tonight and said that a customer told them his son had handed 2 terriers in to a sanctuary ay St Neots. Having trouble finding a Rescue Centre at St Neots, can anyone shed any light on that? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thats right Lee - the posters are working, and the more you have out there the more feedback you are likely to get. Nice to hear you are still positive. Thats the way to go. Everywhere you go, just give them to everyone, and perhaps atend some outdoor events, markets, boot sales, sports events, fairs, etc and hand out the flyers. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Had another tip off yesterday through the vets, but turned out to be a pair of beagles that were re-united with their owners. This does mean that the posters are working. I stopped a lady this morning on the way to work, who was walking her dog, to give her a flyer, she said she had already seen a poster at the vets....this does leave me hopeful. More posters out tomorrow. LeeLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Lee - thank you for posting, and so sorry your clue came to nothing. DO keep up the publicity - we are not sure they are down a hole. They could be anywhere. Posters are the key. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to owner. Mobile phone number now added to details. These two monkeys have managed to escape from the garden and owner fears they may have gone down a Badger sett and come to grief. Family have been searching the area and getting the word out as much as possible, and have had them on the radio, but there is still loads of work in the way of publicity to be done. Have discussed this, and will be sending information sheets, contact numbers and ideas through to them this evening. Owner not home at the mo. I do hope we can get these two sweethearts home. They are quite inseperable, so would almost certainly have stayed together if they can, and they would know their way home. They have been missing before, but never for this long, and have found their own way back. Family are very very worried.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Will call owner as soon as I can. A poster can be printed by clicking on DOG POSTER 1 above dog detail boxes, left hand side. Comments can be left on here by clicking on the small blue cross above this message. You need to get hundreds of posters out in the area and a bit further away as soon as possible.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
