Absolutely FANTASTIC news……just had a call from Archie’s owner to say he’s been found. They got a call from the Oxfordshire dog warden yesterday who had picked Archie up, scanned him and was then able to make that phone call that Archie’s family had been waiting for for the last 18mths.

They are just on their way up there now to collect him. Such a relieve after working tirelessly to find their boy.

Fantastic to have another long term reunion, again showing how valuable a chip is, and coincidentally another ‘Archie’ back home!

Owner is going to give me another call when he has actually got Archie in his arms!

My wife and I distributed many  leaflets about Archie at the Maldon Carnival yesterday and hope to get Chelmsford Radio to broadcast a message. Archie may have been taken in by someone, if this the case please call us we are desperate to have him back.  However, he may been trying to make his way back home to Stanford-le-Hope, Essex (30 miles away) across fields.  If everybody, looks out for him between this whole area we might find him.  Thanks to everyone who is helping with the search.  Archie's owners.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

owners have done a brilliant job of postering all of the neighbourhood and supermarkets  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photo's now on site of Archie who is a toy miniature poodle, cream/apricot colour with a lamb type cut. His owner has registered on site now too so hopefully he'll be along later to post. They are doing a great job of spreading the word and making Archie too hot to handle. It is possible someone local has taken him in so hopefully very soon they'll do the right thing and call.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
