There is a female german shepherd just gone on the Battersea Dogs Home website.  Worth a look - a bit of an age difference but definately look quite alike. http://www.battersea.org.uk/dogs/molly_2.htmlLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thanks for the info. many thanks. With no real confirmed sightings, I am now convinced that someone must have her. I am so desperate to get our baby back, if anyone has any information about her please get in touch.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

http://www.giveusahome.co.uk/dogspages/dogpage31.htm have left a message on Anna's phone, saw this on the Aras (bedford)website, cant see much of the dog apart from head and the black doesnt look quite so pronounced but colours can fade in the sun- female gsd the right age with a medical condition.maybe wishful thinking but dont like to overlook any even half likely photo. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bumped due to possible sightings. Anna you need to poster the area heavily wherever there is a sighting reported. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Yasa. Was a recent sighting of a GSD in Braughing which was loose. Only about 2 miles from me but couldn't find anything when we went to look. Checked with the guy I know in the Post Office and it seems that everyone who has a GSD was accounted for, could it have  been her? Another sighting of a GSD in Barkway, some 7 miles further the next day. Again drove over there and found nothing. As there have been no positive sightings of her, not sure what to make of this?  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Anna - nice to have a long chat with you today. It sounds as if you are totaly on the ball, but maybe I have given you some more ideas to go forward with this. New A4 poster and flyers created and emailed to you. Let me know if you are wanting anything changed, but otherwise, I hope they will bring you luck. Have also sent you some general information sheets and list of rescues that I have. Hope this helps. do please stay in touch and let me know of any media you do, or any sightings or news and we can bump her up to the top. Good Luck, and hope you get a break through soon. x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for the update. The dog warden for North Herts hasn't found the shepherd yet in Lilley, seems to have disappeared again so if anyone hears of it reappearing perhaps they could let me know. I am in contact with the dog warden there and he said he will keep me updated. The dog in Luton and detailsed on the Boness website has only been spotted and not picked up but has been seen by a few people who are now leaving food oout for it. I have e mailed copy of poster to the lady in Luton who reported the sighting and see has said that she will keep me informed if there are any more developments. Seem to be a lot more GSD's turning up recently, just hoping and hoping that it will be her soon x   1Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks all, have had an advertisement in the local papers for 3 weeks now, spoken to all the dog wardens, kennels etc, been to see a couple of strays that were possibilties but sadly it was not her. No real sightings of her although a dog matchinng her description was seen in Henham, but this is really unknown. Have put up posters with pic in Furneaux Pelham, Hormead, Bruaghinng Friars, Albury, Puckeridge and vets in Royston. Desparate to find her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

My dogs and I have been walking around the area this afternoon but without a sighting this is like looking for a needle in a haystack. The corn is high and it would be easy for a dog to hide out. A lot of the posters are illegible now because of the rain yesterday and I thinkpostering further afield - Furneux Pelham, Hormeads etc would be good as she could have travelled quite a way if scared. Please post on here if you want any help. BridgetLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Local papers are the Herts and Essex Observer and Hertfordshire Mercury. I've seen handwritten posters around area but maybe some with photo on would draw attention more. I live in Little Hormead and will come over to the area tomorrow with my dogs for a walk round. Any idea which way she was heading when she bolted? Terrible storms around here this afternoon/evening which won't have helped.  Stay safe girl until you are found. Bridget  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Leave items of your clothing with scent, food and water in the area of loss. Most dogs do return to the area they last saw their owner, so try to make a safe place for her to shelter that smells of home. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photo cropped closer and reloaded. There is a poster available by clicking on DOG POSTER 1 above the dog detail boxes, left hand side. You need to be registered and logged in to do this. Get hundreds of posters up as quickly as possible. I do hope she is found soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
