- Check all outbuildings numerous times, as cats will stay very quiet when trapped. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so they can squeeze through very narrow spaces (About 2"/3" wide) So has Bear managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. You could leave her litter tray out, but beware other cats may used it. Is there a Mr Big in the area? (Dominant cat) As sometimes they will case a less confident cat out of it`s own territory; however the chased cat will not return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Take good walks around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Cats can smell scents from quite a distance away. Someone may be feeding her (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy too. Poster around the area, and poster flyers through doors too. Also was there a removal van in the area, at the time Bear went missing, that she could have climbed into? Paws xd that Bear will be reunited very soon.,
