Assume all outbuildings checked thoroughly at the time the cats went awol? Cats dislike change of any kind; the prefer familiar scents, so they may be trying to find their way back to their previous address. Poser around the area you are in now, and where you lived before. Also post flyers throuh doors; as many as you can; where, and when you can, if possible. I would also contact vets; animal rescue centres etc in case handed in, as microchips can slip sometimes. Try this too, take good walks around the area, taking with you objects with their scent on, and rattle some cat treats. Someone may have thought they are strays, and is feeding them. Or/and they could have become lost, and disorientated in their new area. I would also put their UNWASHED blanket/s into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. Cats cab smell scents from quite a distance away. Paws xd.
