FOMO
Please to see this one is finally settled after all the searches made. its a shame the finder being a reader of this site and other sites did not put the dog on the found section the day it was found which probably before the dog was put on as lost.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The lady who found Munch is a regular on this site and other dog sites...and was concerned at coming forward because of what she was reading over the last week.......Having spent 3 hours with Liz the owner she would like to say that no way would this dog have been treated badly. Owner has made the decision in the best interest of Munch he will stay with finder as he has got attached to her and her dogs' They are both happy with this...I am happy and PHEW! So is Eddie LOL! Happy new life to you Munch!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

i am still awaiting confimation hence i was not going to reunite until this was done. last text from owner was at 1.30 saying the finder was 20 mins late and she was getting anxious. Further calls to her are not being answered so i cannot confirm yet that munch ( or Pepsi as he has now been called) is with the owner that lost him.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I have just read on the internet that much has been found and i an so pleased
as his breeder would you please ask liz to send her details for me as i love to keep records of where the pups are and send all pups cards at birthdays and christmas time and fom time to time i love having photos. I have told his parents gaz and cleo ad his brother charlie.
I have prayed so much. Please God she keeps him he should be ok with children as he was brought up with them. this is munch with my daughter Abbey 11 and i have my granddaughter living with us 4 and her their friends.  /he may have mistakes i the house after all he was up rooted and sold on.
i asked his
previous owner why she chared so much and she said to cover the injections. Worse part was i wasn't told she had sold him and if it was for Eddie i wouldn't have known . A big thank you to dogwatch and everyone else including Eddie

Munch has been found and being sorted out between owner and finder. Finder has ben reading various sites about the dog and the fact it has been stated current owner did not want the dog.   Unfortuntely this would have been sorted much earlier if these sort of doubts had not been made public. from owner What was quoted to you from my email was indeed said to get rid of   unprofession strangers who have been bombarding me with numerous text, emails & phonecalls Thanks for your reply which has really put my mind at rest,if he is found,i will definately be keeping him!!as you can imagine, now he is missing,i am continually feeling guilty that i even considered selling him.

Re recent posts I have spoken to Liz the owner to clarify present situation   Liz had the dog 24 hours when it bolted from the front door. I am emailing posters for her to send onto her brother to print as Liz has no printer then  more can go up. She is activly seeking Munch and appreciates the help from doglost however she is also recieving a lot of abusive phone calls and messages including threats to her child since Munch went missing.   .Therfore at her request the only numbers showing on the poster will be doglost. Any calls to doglost about Munch will be made to owner via a doglost co-ordinator.   Any helpers in thsi area please poster as much as possible.   Re the tescos advert owner went to check but no poster. She checked with store and i myself have also spoken to tescosand no posters are allowed in the store. If one was put up by the finder then a staff member would have taken it down so this lead is unfortunately one that cannot be followed on unless anyone spots more details or a number of the finder.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry I am right out of the London and Surrey area.   Hounslow is very near Heathrow airport, anyone got contacts for putting up posters in the staff rooms of the airport so that those living  and working in the area might see.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A good idea Nina, but unfortunately Munch was sold and the new owner lost him after 24hrs.   I live in Devon and the breeder, who will have him back, lives in B'ham. We are very short of help in the area, although I managed to rustle up some help yesterday, Thank you people. Another problem is, he was lost on the 16th from Wallington and possibly sighted 20 miles away on the 22nd near Hounslow. Was it him?  Was he lost on the 16th?  Was he picked up?  Was he sold on again? We do have limited funds available for a reward. Are you in the area Nina?  Are you available?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What about buying or renting a megaphone(hand held loud speaker) and standing in a busy palce and let everyone know that your dog is missing.  You could also had out doglost posters as well.  By doing this it might bring more media attention to your situation.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The purpose of doglost site is to reunite dogs with owners and not to become involved in arguments or comments from anyone on this site. Anyone posting remarks where details cannot be confirmed by the owner will have the posts removed. As far as Munch is concerned the details of any sightings are to be reported to doglost- this is under instructions of the owner.   However much helpers wish to become involved they must do so at the instructions of the OWNER. if helpers do not agree with the owner they must put their own views aside and we will not become involved in a battle of words.   I have since been informed of postings on other sites now by one of our helpers claiming owner does not want this dog & giving their number as contact.  This should not have been done and full facts of any situation need to be checked before any posts are made.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We are trying for a photo, or a 'similar' pic.  The word is being sent around.  Ali is also on the case.  Have spoken to the owner who is distraught.  I have told her about 'poster power'   Fingers crossed   KatiaLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

My Sister and neice were in Wallington on Sunday and said there was a notice in the Tesco Express about a found dog. They know no more details (didn't read it just saw the title) but thought it was worth mentioning

The owners did not report this dog as missing, the breeder did. Unfortunately she lives 150m away.  I have set a lot of wheels in motion this morning, but as I live in Devon now it'll have to be "suggestive help" via internet. Munch now has his own Facebook page and has been "Twittered"        Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I think this is the same sort of area as Jappa (which should be Japper!) has been sighted? If so may be worth owners getting joint postering plan in actionLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
