Looks like Ellie may have been locked in someone's shed . . . she just strolled into home! Thank goodness
Thank you TrudielovesMax! for your advice and comments, all was passed onto owner

Sometimes a person will take a fancy to someone`s cat, and try to hide it their house; she is very pretty, so keep vigilant just in case. When cats go are, they are usually trapped in some outbuilding, or someone is feeding them. With cats it`s all about scent. Also they can smell from quite a distance away. All xd for Elle`s safe return x

Check all outbuildings thoroughly, including empty houses, and cellars. When checking search numerous times as cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, and can squeeze in to very small spaces (About 2"/3" wide), so has she climb ed into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. Check behind hedges up trees etc. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and place it in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Is there a Mr Big in the area? (Dominant cat) As sometimes they will chase a less dominant cat out of it`s own territory. Thus the chased cat will not return until it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Take good walks around the area, holding her UNWASHED blanket, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding her (Common problem). Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Hope pretty Elle will be home very soon. Paws xd.Last edited: 2023-10-23 20:58:07 by TrudielovesMax!
