- I live in the Stang Forest and am out every day walking with my two dogs so just wanted to let you know that we are looking out for Ruby all the time. - Great Swaledale mountain rescue were able to go down and investigate. Trying not to be pessimistic but any chance they may be able to check again in case she was there and hiding? I don't know what it would be like down there and dogs in survival mode often hide. Good she wasn't found though. Still praying for Ruby xxx

- Swaledale mountain rescue have been down the sink hole and found tunnels and a caving system. Ruby was not in there so search continues.

- Sending prayers that some how Ruby is still out there and able to get home. Devastating for her owners to find a sinkhole - and hopefully rare too - I hope the authorities or landowner will be able to put warning notices near the location. xx

- Update from owner new post - Today James and April re-walked the original walk that Gerry did with Ruby and Cotton on Thursday. At the exact location where Ruby went missing they found a deep sink hole covered with grass and with fast flowing water going down into pitch darkness. The hole is around 30 to 40 ft away from the fence that Gerry was walking along. Ruby was running on that side of Gerry and at that distance away from him. We can't be 100% that this is where Ruby very sadly ended up, but everything points towards that this is what happened, Ruby was running and fell into this sink hole or whatever it is. It was overcast, raining, foggy, windy and getting dark. 48 hours have passed and no-one has seen Ruby. If anyone has knowledge of sinkholes or caving in the Stang and think that there is a possibility that Ruby could have survived please please let us know. Thank you everyone for all your support in searching for Ruby. We are devasted.
