Hi, I just wanted to thank everyone for looking for Cleo. Unfortunately she has never been found, but we won't give up our search. She has been lost for 14 months now and we still miss her as badly as ever.

This is what I had back from Sandra
"I rang the person who found that dog in Ferrrybank, but unfortunately it isn't Cleo. It is a female whippet/greyhound type dog. The man that found her still hasn't located the owner so he still has the dog, so if anyone knows who owns her I have his number.

I saw this ad on   WLRFM (Waterford ) radio station  lost and found site.  Afraid it doesnt state any more than this brief info.   http://www.wlrfm.com/NewsSport/LostFound.aspx August 5th
A black dog with a white chest and white paws wearing a red collar has been found in Ferrybank.

I have bumped Cleo up as when she was first put on there was a misunderstanding sandraR is her owner and this should be her comment.

I am making a renewed appeal for my beloved Spaniel X who has been missing (presumed stolen) since Wednesday, 22nd April. Unfortunately in spite of the fact that I placed adverts on radio, in newspapers (both local and not so local), put up posters, contacted the vets, pounds around the country and animal welfare offices, and put Cleo’s picture on loads of websites, there has not been one sighting of her. This leads me to believe she was stolen.
Cleo will be 7 this month. She is a spaniel/labrador x but looks more like a spaniel. She is bigger than a cocker spaniel but smaller than a labrador. She is mainly black but has white under her chin and chest area and a little on her paws. Sometimes she suffers from stiffness in her joints and can walk with a limp when this happens. Cleo is neutered and had an old red collar with silver bones embedded on it on her when she disappeared. This is probably gone off her now. She is missing one of her smaller front teeth and due to her love for stealing my neighbours golf balls and trying to eat them, she also broke a couple. Her hair is medium to long in length (a bit like a spaniels) and tends to get quite curly near her rear.
She is a very friendly girl and that was probably her downfall as she would go to anyone. She loves travelling in cars and would quite happily jump in if she was asked. Also she loves "markies" and if she hears them being mentioned she will bark excitedly.

I haven't logged this dog, as lost, don't know anything about it!! but hope its home soon.
