I have just had a phone call from the retired greyhound trust at Basildon, and have have taken in a deerhound x lurcher grey and shaggy approx age 4/5, but could be younger.  Tied up with rope outside Sainsburys so dumped by Travellers.   I am waiting for photos.  I also informed them to list on doglost.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We've just had a sighting of a dog very very like Bridget at How Green Lane near Hever. A lady has rung as she saw the dog with no collar running along the road on Thursday evening. She has only just seen a poster and made the connection.
Please please can everyone keep an eye out! We have put posters up near there but will put even more.

The lurcher found isn’t Bridget and has been picked up by its owners but thanks for alerting us anyway. She’s out there somewhere I’m sure. Thanks to everyone for keeping an eye out

Possible sighting of skinny nervous lurcher similar to Bridget by taxi driver on roads near Lower Haseden lakes outside Tonbridge last Thursday 25th June at around 8.20 am. We know there is a similar lurcher living in the Leigh area but have put posters up over there and reported the dog to the dog warden. Otherwise no news

Just spoken to another Oxted friend - I am going to send her two of Bridget's posters and she will very kindly ask Little Orchard Kennels and Tan House Vets to display Bridget's posters (I understand both are fairly close to TN8 area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I have received back an e mail from my friend as below - hope all this helps. I have passed this on to a couple of friends who live north of Edenbridge and to the riding club who have members in various areas around Edenbridge.   Good Luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is my area and I'll get some posters out. Received an e mail from a friend about Bridget, so will pass the poster on to my contacts. Sadly such a gorgeous lurcher would be a popular theft.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Our friendly Surrey Police officer for the area is off duty until Tuesday but i've left a full description of Bridget for him so he can look out for her when he is in the "usual" suspect places.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to Bridget's owner... Bridget now registered with Kent Police as stolen... someone appears to have GROOMED her in the woods near where she went missing! We need posters up asap all around the area - please all in the area and west to Crowborough, up to Edenbridge (oh yes... there again) and over towards Headcorn, please can you help? We need hints on where Bridget might be... those posters need putting up asapLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
