Update from Jonathan at Lancashire Lost Dog Network x

❤️❤️❤️❤️Welcome home Sasha ❤️❤️❤️❤️

On the 17th of August Sasha went Missing from her garden in Stoneyholme , Burnley.
She had been playing with the children one minute and gone the next , it was thought she had gone next door but she wasn't there .
Lancashire Lost Dog Network contacted Vanessa on the 18th offering assistance, there was a chance she had gone walkabout so a camera was set up alongside a feed station , an article of unwashed clothing belonging to Sasha's owner and instructions for a scent trail to be done before dark.

Unfortunately there was no cctv in the area to give us any indication of the direction she might have gone or been taken.

A poster was created to help reach a wider audience, unfortunately as soon as they went up they were taken back down again , was there a reason or was it just kids.

Sadly the only calls that Vanessa Burrows-Ashcroft received turned out to be scammers, one such call thought it was acceptable to say Sasha was dead in the river at a nearby park.

On the 28th of August we had a breakthrough a picture of a dog matching Sashas description had been seen on a estate near Accrington Road a few miles from home .

We overlaid the photos double checking it was Sasha and we were in the right area , we believed the photos matched .

We had decided to keep this information quiet as we didn't want to alert anyone that she could be in the area incase she was moved on if stolen or chased if she was roaming.

More posters went up thanks to a kind donation by Cathy Smith who's one of our supporters.
We kept proactive but there was no calls or sightings anywhere.

Another four days passed we needed another sighting , I decided more pressure was needed so more posters went up .

On the 4th of September at 11.30 a phone call was received saying that Sasha had been seen in a flat close to home , more information came in thanks to the person that called who's identity we will keep private.

Sasha was then returned home unharmed on Tuesday the 5th much to everyone's relief .

We are unsure of exactly what went on , we will never know , we dobelieve however that the social media presence and the constant posters put enough pressure on the person that had her , also that she had been moved around.

I would like to thank everyone that shared her posts , Cathy Smith who's posters made who to hot to handle.

The guy that made the phone call, that effectively got Sasha home .

And finally Vanessa and Mick who never gave up in their relentless search for Sasha, we'll done ❤️.

And finally stay Safe Sasha the kids , mum and dad are glad your home ❤️🏘🏠🏡 x
