Red and white staffie on found pages today, I think its was found about 2 hours drive away from where you are, but might be worth a look

Reply from owner. Kai is still missing and the police have been to see the owners. 4 other red and white male staffies have been stolen in the same area since Kai was stolen.

Posted by ashd 14.06.09 he is a 18 month old entire male staffy with quite unique and distinctive markings you can see on the photo his white face ,head , neck and chest and on his neck on his left as you look at him he has a red patch of fur that looks like a smudged heart and he also has 4 white socks all at different hights he has 2 tiny red spots ontop of his head in the white stripe he was wearing a black leather collar with dimontie s on it . he was last seen on cctv by the shop on mill lane whitburn at approx 13.45 on 03/06/09  being friendly to a young male in his 20 s with dark hair who went into the shop bought some drinks asking if the dog belonged to anyone while he was in there he was told no but that the owners lived 2 mins down the street to that he replied stuff them and proceeded to put my dog into his car . he is a much loved family pet and the same age as my daughter who misses him terribly . the police are involved and looking n to finding the car as it was on the cctv and some one took its reg he is also on just about every missing dog web site face book ect been in the local papers on the radio and hopefuly the tv soon on crime stoppers . hope thats enough info.

Posted by Co-ordinator furlover 12.06.09 Tried to contact owner but the no is not recognised-   owner if you see this posting please double check the contact no. If Kai has been stolen/taken  please ensure that it is logged with the police and obtain a reference no from them. Also Kai need to be registered with the dog warden in the local AND surrounding areas Posters are the most effective method of getting dogs back so please get as many as possible up in the area as soon as possible  Posters are created for owners to print off as soon as we get a picture.. but you then need to be logged in to the site in the first instance - just click on login  and enter the registration details used to put on site originally  ~Once you have logged in you need to click above Dog Information  on the   + Dog Poster. Check in person at the local stray pounds and do keep on the site with updates if possible Helen xx

The dog escaped out of the garden and took him self up the shop where he was seen on cctv being very friendly to a young male who then took him in the shop to see if he belonged to anyone in the shop he was then told by the shopkeeper that he belonged to me and told him where i lived he then put my dog into his car and drove off not been seen again the man was not local as the shop keeper did not reconise him and the car registration is registered down bedfordshire the police are involved but nothing yet he is plarsted all over the intenet the local news papers have been out and are running stories been to and phoned all local shelters leaving info local vets are keeping a eye out case someone tries to regester him as a new pet ect not sure what else i can do if he s not in the north east how do i find him . Sent e mails with info and photo as far as yorkshire who have been sent to others what else can i do to find my dog ?????????

ashd, sorry to see Kai is missing.  Thanks for registering on DL and adding his details, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Great you have uploaded a photo.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible and make him TOO HOT TO HANDLE, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Can you please tell us the circumanstances of how he went missing, was it from home or on a walk?  Ensure you get a CRIME No. from the Police. Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting   Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is  found soon.  Jan x
