That is WONDERFUL news I am SO happy - I have just notified contacts I made asking for their help re Sasha - and they also agree with me. IT IS GREAT.

part of email from Foster Parents Thankfully Sasha has now been found and is back home.   It just so happens that I rang the lady who spotted her this morning on the offchance and her sighting helped us narrow down the search to a very limited area.  We are in the process of updating all the sites and I cannot thank you enough for your efforts.  Regards from a very tired FP   Eve - reference the automatic emails from the site- we are having to send them manually at the moment as the auto email funtion was one of the parts damaged by the hack - hopefully the old site will be back soon !!

Wonderful news!!!  It has made my day! The news reached me from Mark at Celia Cross Greyhound Trust who I had already notified. Yes, stay safe on the sofa, Sasha!

Just logged on to say able to help tomorrow with search/postering only to be delighted to find this lovely girl in the blue.  She obviously knows where she is well off!  Stay safe Sasha.
Just as an aside, I didn't receive an email about Sasha, so only knew about her from checking the lost page.

Just read on SLR that she was seen about 7.30 this morning quite near to where she's been fostered - just thought I would cross post so any local DL helpers could be notified - Good Luck everyone, feel useless as not close enough to help

She's been spotted within a mile of the house coming back in the direction of the property at 7.15 a.m.  So within a two mile radius.

I've been following Sasha's story on Southern Lurcher Rescue and although I am a bit out of your area please let me know if I can do anything to help - she is such a fantastic looking girl and I really hope she's found soon

Hi Hope Sasha is found SOOON - will take her poster to Pet Doc East Horsley (Kt24) and Cobham Park Vets who I am sure will be happy to help and display her poster etc  I will also put a couple of posters up in EH Village (Budgens etc). Will keep in touch with postit notes.

Registered helpers in GU5 AND KT24 have also been mailed out, Sasha is missing in a very Rural area so will take some keen eyed people to spot her

Thank you doglost for all your help thus far. She went missing from Abinger Hammer, which is right on the edte of the  RH and GU postcodes so would be worth pinging Guildford members as well.  Gomshall, Peaslake, Shere Ewhurst and Horsley. Extra info on Sasha.  She has a small scar under her right eye in the corner and her ears don't quite hang down uniformly.

Can you tell us exactly where she ran off from.  Dorking postcode is actually RH4 so it would be helpful to know what area she ran off from as I am in RH4.

Thanks Jenny. What a gorgeouse girly- what a shame she has taken it upon herself to run off. We got there at last with the photos, so you can now print a poster from the page by clicking on DOG POSTER 1, to the left and above the dog detail boxes, but yo have to be logged in to do that. We can make flyers for you if that would help.

Sasha was neutered approximately 4 weeks ago and has only just started going off lead.  She was on the return from a long walk with her foster mum.  As they slipped the lead off she slipped past them back through the gate and ran off. I have tried to upload photos but can't get them to upload. Sasha is a cream saluki type lurcher, very saluki, very fine in features, and can be seen on her link here on Southern Lurcher Rescue. http://mimsmum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=needinghomes&action=display&thread=5124&page=4 There are five pages on Sasha.  She is a friendly soul, but a bit scared of new things around her.  Any sightings please call me, Jenny, Admin at Southern Lurcher Rescue. 07940 555 574.
