- Thanks for up date Sheltielover! Having a bit of a giggle here! When my dog got back after 6 weeks( she was the reason I set up Doglost to help others having been through that awful ordeal myself) I fed her fillet steak...Guess what she turned her nose up to any dog food from thence forth...Also the other dogs did...One was a Great Dane! We lived on toast from that day forth and our dogs ate Fillet steak...occasionally they would accept chicken...but only if cooked!

He’s lost a lot of weight, but is doing well and going home soon where his owner has promised him a steak dinner when he’s fully better 🥩😏
