Hi John. If the cat you saw resembled Arlo, may be a good idea for owner to borrow a cat trap from Cat Protection, or an Animal Rescue Centre. They will show the owner how to set it. As owner thinks Arlo may have been stolen, the cat thief may have abandoned it to fen for itself. Even if it isn`t Arlo, this feline needs attention.

why would the police drop the investigation? This is theft. Always best to speak to the Officer-in-Charge when reporting. I know someone who lives in B36. will ask them if they have heard anything. I would still post flyers through doors. And keep checking other selling sites. Hope Arlo is reunited with you very soon. Arlo needs to be made "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Paws, and fingers xd.
