- So sorry Kira is still missing. Sharing widely. But WHY is is taking do long to release the CCTV? It is now 26 hours since she was stolen and images NEED to be released of the thief. CCTV is the most powerful weapon against dog thieves and time is of the absolute essence! Many dogs HAVE been safely recovered once the CCTV is out there. It's also vital that information is released as to whether the thief was on foot, in a vehicle, direction he led Kira off in, so that appeals for wider CCTV, dashcam etc. can be correctly focused. CCTV even if poor can be enhanced - the ORIGINAl footage needs to be secured from the time she was left too - the thief could have been lurking and there may be better images of him.

- Facebook post: Hi Everyone, I'm hoping someone might be able to help find our dog who has been stolen. Her name is Kira, she's a 12 yr old black Labrador. She was stolen from the Sainsbury's at Tooting Broadway at around 3:00pm. According the security guards description from the CCTV, the thief was wearing a black jacket, dark army green trousers, grey trainers and a green and white wheely hat.
