- Fantastic news. So please Harvey has ben found. Stay close now Harvey:-) xxx. Cats hate change of any kind. They like familiar scents, and surroundings. If you need to ask someone`s to take care of your cat. Ask the owner to leave their scent in the cats bed, such as an unwashed item of clothing.

- Check all outbuildings including empty house, and cellars in case shut in. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very small spaces (About 3" wide) Exiting can be more difficult. Cats can stay very quiet, and still, so do multiple checks. Assume trees, and any decking. As Harvey is deaf scent will be very important here. Pace his UNWASJHED blanket into clean container along with your scent too, and leave in he garden in a sheltered spot, or the washing line if dry; used towels too. Put some sardines/tuna in his dish; some strong smelling treats too. Best time to search for a cat is at nightfall, and early morning. Also when searching, use the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis as je will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. Is there a Mr, or Mrs Big in the area. As sometimes they will chase a less dominant cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Paws xd-
