Full update from Mag from Breage/Ashton/Praa Sands/Rosudgeon FB group:
"So what happened was last night around 2,20 am we had a phone call from an amazing guy called rob who lives in longrock who saw the poster we put out ie garage, co-op , and around the area, and he saw the poster and decided to go to praa sands beach and look for her in the early hours last night, he rang us and said he saw her so we got dressed and we’re out till gone 4,30 am we could hear her but she would not come to us as afraid we think of the torches,
So tonight we heard a MEOW outside our motor home , so I left out with her dish and grabbed a tin of sardines and called her as I was putting it in her dish , did not use a torch as did not want to scare her, she ran off,had slipped her harness .but still had collar on .
So my husband walked down the steps of the beach , and saw her on a rock, came back got her dish of food , and placed it on the top step leading down to the beach, and within seconds she appeared and started eating the food, so my husband picked her up brought her back to the motorhome , she’s ate a lot of food and is currently led on my bed fast asleep.
She is under tight security now lol , and every time we take the dog out she will be locked in the bathroom until our return ( which is only 5 mins) as dog can’t walk far as she’s 16 years old.
Again I want to thank each and every one of you❤️for your fantastic support and help , we are overwhelmed with your support and kindness❤️
We have put an offer to buy a property and this has been excepted and although it will take a few mnths for us to move in due to time scale of vendor moving out, we can’t wait to be part of the Cornish community , you guys are the nicest people .
