There is a black Patterdale bitch on the Doglost site: Found in Oxfordshire today, ID 24534. She has a white marking however so I don't think it's this one... Have emailed anyway

Please check out these links.  They are of 15 dogs found in Ireland in Feb 2009, presumed stolen.  There is a young patterdale on there.  Good luck xx http://petsireland.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=69014 http://petsireland.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=69015 http://petsireland.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=69016Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The house Jet was stolen from is in an extremely remote location so no cctv, neighbours etc.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

patterdale One boy,now 5 months old.Black, broken coated, lovely temperment.Would prefer working home. IN Freeads today? Vague I know but worth looking in the free pages, Freeads, Sun etc may not be in the same county now. popular breed of terrier for selling on! Also handwritten postcards in village shop windows. Worth asking around if anyone else saw the van to get some/all registration, would they have driven past any cctv's? that sort of thing. What was going at time of theft any local delivery people - might they have seen the van? Hope you get some good leads soon.

Would putting posters up in Peterborough help?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for offering to put posters up Susie you could maybe get all your friends and family to put a poster in their cars and if any of your family are on Facebook you could pass the message on, that way the news of little Jet will reach a wider audience. I did mention traveller liaison officer to Jet's owner when I spoke to her and have asked other owners of missing dogs to look out for her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I live within 10 minutes of the place this one has gone from!! I am not aware of any traveller sites that are really close at the minute but the village did have a camp of about 30 set up last year but as far as I know they have now moved on! Will poster the local supermarket but would suspect that pup is now out of the area!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Is there a local travellers site in the area. This is typical behaviour. See if local council has a liiason officer and discuss it with them. Good luck...judy

Any more description eg transit or smaller All white Newish or old etc Either way it is likely they could change areas and sell her on so we need to spread the word widely and quickly and make this little one too hot to handle. Such a cruel act-again!

She didn't get any part of the number plate as they drove off too quickly.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Not having a tail docked will hopefully make her stand out more. Did the owner manage to get any part of the registration number of the van and if so can they put it out on here?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner just phoned to tell me that Jet has NOT had her tail docked which is quite unusual for a Patterdale. She is busy spreading the word about Jet via the internet.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just spoken to owner, this is the second dog she has had stolen, other one was 5 years ago and that one was never recovered. The white van had been seen in the area all week. The men approached the dogs as they were out walking. The other 2 dogs stood back and barked but of course the puppy ran up to the men who promptly picked her up and drove away. Has been reported to police who gave her a crime number but other than that they were not interested. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Do hope Jet is found soon.  You need posters everywhere in area.  I've sent you a message Ashmark.  Stay safe Jet till you are found. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
