From Ben:
"Thank you so much to everyone and all your help if it wasn’t for all of you especially the group of people that were working 24/7 (you know who you are) he wouldn’t of been found or at least not this quick. Love to you all ❤️".Last edited: 2021-07-26 23:15:54 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

Latest update from group admin:
"Update: Saturday 24, July, 10am.
The sighting last night was confirmed as Buddy but unfortunately a dog started barking in the distance and he spooked 😢 Buddy is so scared just now, he ran and has gone into hiding again. The area was watched and monitored all night. Food and some of the owners clothes were put out but Buddy didn't come. He is just so heartbreakingly scared.
The good news is we know Buddy is still in the areas that we've had previous sightings in and each sighting helps us understand the route he is taking so we can try to get ahead of him BUT, my word, this wee boy is in full Survival Mode and he is not taking any chances near anything or anyone.
If you know where we were last night, please don't post it, give Buddy a chance to settle so he feels brave enough to be seen again.
Please, don't go out searching for Buddy and definitely don't be shouting his name. If you're in any of these areas, please keep an eye out for Buddy as you go about your daily business and if you do see Buddy then all we ask is you pretend you haven't seen him, take a photo or video and send it to Buddy's owner Ben Echo Lightley or to me, with the location and a time.
There are people in the area who Buddy knows and trusts. Getting them there ASAP is key to getting Buddy home. If a dog barking in the distance sent Buddy into a tailspin, then an unknown human calling and moving towards him will definitely be seen as a threat and he will keep running.
We need Buddy to stop running, we need to get Buddy's humans to him, we need to work together to get Buddy safe.
PRETEND YOU HAVEN'T SEEN HIM, SEND US PHOTOS, VIDEOS, LOCATION AND TIME - that's what we need from you now."

Has followed your advice (scenting etc) Friends, Neighbours and local residents on the look out for Buddy. Has been seen about 7 miles away from home, could be circling the area trying to return to house.
