Thank you Mendip Dog Warden for the update of information. I'll leave her as "found" for a couple more days just in case someone is looking.

Thank you yes nsc stands for North Somerset Council and the numbers are sadly her reference number as she wasn’t microchipped so we didn’t know her name. She was in an awful condition and very upsetting. Sadly still no one has come forward with any more details to help trace her most recent owners.

HeatherG - the NSC stands for North Somerset Council which probably ties up with their log entry (maybe the 7th dog in 2021). I would suspect she was a stolen dog, used for breeding then discarded when she became too old, unfortunately a common problem these days x

I shared this little one yesterday, I’m so upset about her, can anyone help me please, to identify what the letters NSC stand for ? And would the following numbers be a date error? (Where her name should be) . Thank you ( I’m not sure if I should delete from my shares, as I used in my edit)

Leaving as "found" for a little while in case she is a long term lost and there may be a family out there looking x

@sheltielover, we all feel upset about Summer. But she may have been a lost dog, we don't know the circumstances.

RIP Summer, whoever did this to you is a criminal, I pray they are found and prosecuted.

Putting this gorgeous little lady on our rainbow bridge group as “SUMMER”

No chip, so no known name. Shall we call her "Summer" as she was found so close to the summer solstice.

Run free with a silky coat and no pain at Rainbow Bridge little one, your external beauty and carefree days fully restored lovely Summer x
