Amazing ! How lovely !

What wonderful news. Elated for her owners. It could have been that Freya had been chased out of her own territory by a "Mr. Big" (Dominant cat) And was afraid to return; it happens. Stay close now Freya:-) xxxLast edited: 2021-04-28 18:09:08

Driving to an appointment with my sister this morning down Glamis Road and i was like "aw look at that wee cat" from a distance, as we drove past my sister shouted "THATS FREYA". she came to me straight away ❤❤❤❤❤ She is very skinny and been in the wars a bit but she is home and thats all that matter."

Welcome home Freya :)) Will update status on owners' behalf.Last edited: 2021-04-28 15:09:48 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

I would walk, around the area different times of the day. taking with you her cat carrier, and her UNWASHED blanket, and rattle some Dreamies. As she has been sighted then someone is feeding her. I am a cat owner, but not a fan of people feeding other families cats, and I never do it myself for this reason. Keep us posted. Paws xd.

Had numerous sightings but can’t get her. She’s all over social media, flyers have been around lots of doors etc. I actually think Freya is with someone who is simply happy to keep her and not give her back. No one is helping. It’s awful ☚ī¸

Thanks for update on Freya. If you think it`s her, maybe you could borrow a cat trap from Cat Protection; maybe for a small donation. They will show you how to set it. Keep us posted. Paws xd.

Thank you so much for your advice 👍đŸģ We may have another sighting from a lady so I’ve asked her to put food out on this occasion so we can get Freya if it’s her. We went around this morning but couldn’t see her. We will go again later

Forgot to say when searching at nightfall use a strong torch as it will reflect a cats eyes. Paws xd.

Sometimes a person will take a fancy to someone`s cat, and try to hide it in their house. I have known this happen until the cat napper saw the owner searching for his pet, and returned the cat. It has happened on this too only recently, but happily this cat was reunited. This sounds very "Sus" to me, so keep vigilant. Take walks around the area where those people have been feeding her, taking with you her UNWASHED blanket, and also use the same deodorant that you use on a day to day basis, as she will recognize the scent, and your the one she trusts. Take these walks different times of the day/evening. Freya is your cat., your daughter is devastated. and you want her home. Keep us posted Paws xd.

Hi
Thank you so much for this information. This couple claimed Freya was at their house and when they fed her tried to get her but she ran away. I am not convinced with these people because we have been searching this area for a week with no result. I would assume that if she had been going as regularly to them as they said, why has she now just stopped??
It is actually making me ill knowing that someone may have her. She is part of the family and this is just awful. My little girl is devastated. đŸ˜ĸ

I would keep searching the area, where she has been sighted, and if necessary you could borrow a cat trap from Cat Protection; maybe for a small fee?
Also please follow any RELEVANT advice on LEBROK CAT`S post. His page no. is 163541. You will find them by googling his name, and page no. LEBROK CAT was reunited. When you do manage to get Freya home, I would keep her in for about a week, or she may go awol again. If you find out who has possibly been feeding your cat, ask them kindly not to. Paws xd.Last edited: 2021-02-28 19:29:45
