- Assume all outbuildings checked at the time he went awol? Just because you can`t see a cat, it doesn`t mean they aren`t around. And sometimes a person will take a liking to someone`s cat, and try to hide it in their house. I have known this happen until the thief saw the owner searching, and returned the cat. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Also I would also contact Collin Butcher who used to work as a police detective in Surrey where he still resides, but now works as a pet detective. And has much success in locating lost, and stolen pets. His side kick is in the shape of a black Cocker Spaniel called Molly who has been specially trained at a Dog Detective school to sniff out missing cats, and is believed to be the only dog in the UK to able to do this, and has reunited many, many cats with their relieved owners. (She never hurts the cats re: her training. It`s a private company but for those on low income/pension etc money donated by helpers goes towards the searches. He is also willing to give advice over the phone. His email is; info@thepetdetectives.com phone is 01403 753 463 Maybe worth a call. Paws xd.
Sometimes though pedigree cats do get stolen, and sold on.Last edited: 2020-11-30 08:00:23 - 2020-11-29 17:45 Joan
