By the edge of a wood at the foot of a hill,  Is a lush green meadow where time stands still !   Where friends of a man and woman do run when their time on earth is over and down,  for here and between this world and the next is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.  On this golden land they wait and play till rainbow bridge they cross over one day !  No more do they suffer in pain or saddness for here they are whole their lives filled with gladdness, Their limbs are restored their health renewed their bodies have healed strength imbuled! They run through the grass without even a care , , untill one day they stop and sniff the air. All ears pricked forward eyes dart side to side and then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack... For just that instant their eyes have met together again person and pet, so they run to each other this friends from long past their time of their parting is over at last,  The sadness they felt whilst apart has turned into joy once more in each heart, they embrace with a love that will last forever And side by side they cross over together x safe forever bob x

Thank you Lizzie. Bob's owner has just called to say that this dog was Bob. They have been to identify him. So so sad ,just as he was about to start a new life with his owner. My condolences to his new owners. Run free at Rainbow Bridge dear Bob. Steph x

Male black/white English Springer Spaniel type found deceased near J6 on M1 motorway on 7/12/08 at 17.35.  No collar/tag/ID.  Bob's owner advised and given contact details of where dog's body is being kept in order that they may see him for identification purposes.

Owner is unable to email photo & has sent mobile picture to Jayne for HQ to put up on site.Bob ran away from where he was staying temporarily on the day that his new owner was going to collect him. New owner's own posters have been put up for now.
