Check ALL outbuiildings, including empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY a some cats will hide in or behind an object within, especially if timid. When cats are trapped they can stay very still and quiet; they are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very small soaces (Abpout 2"/3" wide (7/7.5 cm. So has he managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be difficult, depends on the drop; bearing in mind Leo has a front leg missing.Check trees; any deckings too. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there; litter tray contents too. DO NOT lave the litter tray/box outside as other cats may use i, and it could upset, and confuse the cat. Put some tuna/sardines, or warm chicken in his dish, and call him. Just because you can`t see a cat, it doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with scent too. Wipe his scent on the garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Take a good walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, (An UNWASHED blanket woul be ideal) and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him (Common problam). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post in shops; post offices too. Also is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes the will chase a cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not usually return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Consider posting a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in cas he has climbed into a vehicle. Paws xd.
