Thank you all for your kind words.  I'm so glad Barney is safely home with his family who are so nice and worked so hard to get him home.  It was a team effort involving Radio Suffolk who kindly passed on my no. to the owner, Jetsie's owner who let me know it was on the radio in the first place, the Dog Warden who picked him up and Jane at Pampered Pets who answered my phone call on Saturday evening!  But if it weren't for owners like Barney's, none of these reunited dogs would be home again.  They acted quickly and put flyers through doors and posters up. Sadly Barney's family have suffered a tragic loss as their little cat went to Rainbow Bridge after being hit on the road on the same day Barney was found.  Their mixed feelings are unimaginable but I hope Barney will comfort and cheer them now he's safely home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am the owner of the Irish setter puppy and i just want to pass on my sincere thanks to Jacqui for volunteering her time and effort on our behalf to help find Barney and without any financial reward. She has been absolutely brilliant. Keep up the fantastic work that you do and many thanks once again for locating Barney so quickly. It has been a traumatic 24 hours or so but thanks to Jacqui we had a happy ending. Good luck and best wishes to you all in the future.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This was quick thank goodness!  This lovely boy was lost on a walk yesterday and I called the local Council kennels who told me he had been there since yesterday evening.  I've informed owner who is over the moon.  Apparently the kennel owner says she scanned him and the microchip had not been registered so hopefully they will get this sorted out.  Owner would like to make a donation so I have emailed him details.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
