hello all,
Just wanted to say Mima is home with us now, thank goodness she was not hurt or anything, she has a slight eye infection which must of been because she was out in the rain for a couple of hours friday night.
I can not believe she was at the first kennals I phone but could not get through, if it was not for Jo here I would of never of found her as nobody else I spoke to (the police, the council etc) gave me any numbers.
Mima's not herself at all but we have never left her for longer than 3 hours and never been on holiday etc and left her with anybody, so hopefully she is just a bit shocked, she seems to of hurt her neck/back I can't see anything but will keep an eye on it.
Thank you all so much for careing and all the help, it was almost as bad as loosing one of my children for 3 days, just soooo happy we have her back.
Tons of thanks
Rachel&Mima

Pleased to say it was Mima at the kennels. She was picked up on Friday, the day she went missing. WELCOME HOME Mima! Owner will be getting her microchipped as a welcome home present. Hopefully Mima's owner will be along to post later.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pleased to say it looks like one of the stray holding kennels have Mima - they have a dog fitting Mima's description (and temperament - she's giving them a bit of a hard time! lol!). Fingers crossed its her. Owners are on their way there now. They will let me know. Hopefully she will be in the blue reuniteds very very soon!  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks PomPom and Majorjet. I confirmed with Mima's owner today that it was definitely the 7th Nov that Mima escaped.....so I don't think the found dog as posted on Gumtree can be her....unfortunately. I have emailed the finder, and will try and call again, to obtain some more info if possible as like you say PomPom, details are sparce on the gumtree ad!  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks PomPom for registering and welcome on board DL. Unless the dates are wrong Mima went missing on the 7th and the found dog you refer to was found on 6th.  Will pass the details onto the Co-ordinator for the area.  Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.  Jan x Mima bumped up due to this post.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Mima escaped from her garden about 5.30/6pm on Friday. There was a sighting of her running along a nearby street shortly after. Owner has notified out of hours dog warden in her area, Battersea, local vets, pet shops etc. She has posters printed out and in sleeves ready to go blitz the local area. I have also passed on some numbers for local holding kennels. She is going to contact local councils tomorrow. They actually come under Redbridge council and are also very near to Barkng and Dagenham council area so owner is going to ensure she notifies all of these. If anyone is local and can help postering that would be great. The A12 is very nearby so we don't want Mima anywhere near that. Stay safe Mima and hope you are home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

May we know the circumstances in which Mima went missing? You must inform the dog warden and the local rescue kennels ASAP. Download and print off Mima's poster and distribute everywhere you can think of. Good luck, I hope she is home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
