Dachshund found, in Great Gidding. Original post on Michelle's FB page says the Dachshund is a female. Please also check FB post put onto Stolen Dogs UK FB page. Finder Michelle Claire has also posted the Dachshund on her FB page. Both pages show photo of the found dog. Better information & photos are on Michelle Claire's FB page. Body scanned for chip,but nothing found.
Reading the finder's FB page it says that there may evidence that a chip may have been removed. But they can't say for certain

Public protection Service - Wiltshire Council - female dachshund. Colouring is grey with tan eyebrows and muzzle. The grey could be due to photo or due to dog’s ordeal. (Another stolen dachshund went grey after a short time) Worth a look. Please also check your microchip is up to date and still registered to you.

An Garda Siochàna - Irish police- have recently seized 24 Dachshunds believed to be stolen. All dogs have been removed to Ashtown Pound.

Yesterday evening [Monday 3rd August] we had a really promising sighting phoned in thanks to the wonderful postering in and around Shipton Bellinger
The sighter feels absolutely certain it was Florence he saw within the area circled on the map 🙏🏻"

Copied from duplicate post for Florence "PLEASE HELP US FIND FLORENCE Our dearly loved Florence went missing during our regular walk, a short distance from our house, on Saturday 13th June 2020 around 1830 😥 Florence is a 7 year old, female, short haired, chocolate & tan Miniature Dachshund She was last seen in the rough area shaded red on the attached map in the comments; this is dense bush land and full of thousands of rabbit holes. We walked the route highlighted yellow. Our other dog, Penelope, was with her following rabbit scents

I went out and met Emily and Tim this morning, gave them advice and helped look for Florence. As long as Florence isn’t stuck down a hole I am confident she will make it home alone, there are many holes in the vicinity of where she is missing which are quietly being listened by.
