**Found Dog**
Can you help identify the owners of a dog found collapsed today - 13th May 2013 along the A414 in Hatfield?
The male dog, a white heavy coated German Shephard was found along the river by a fisherman who alerted the RSPCA.
Sadly, following the advice of a Vet, the dog had to be put to sleep. He was neither microchipped or wearing a collar.

possibly worth the owner looking on biggsd as there has been alot of white gsd's on there recently, harder to tell apart so would suggest the owner taking a look at the site

Sorry to see there is still no news on Troy, husband still keeping a look out in the area he was seen every morning. Have there been any new sightings in or around the area. Thinking of you xxx

SCENTING instructions have already been sent with other information at lunch time today also discussed with owner about scenting and keeping a note of any sightings to mark on a map.  Jan x

sorry have just spoken to owner, silly me didn't look at poster before.Have aranged to contact owner if seen again  & will try leaving food any other tips welcome.

Spoken to owner who is going to post an update shortly.  Will send information to them and SCENTING instructions as he has been sighted in various areas and went missing from the house.  Unfortunately they do not have a photo but are going to try and find one on the internet.  Jan x

Sol, sorry to see Troy is missing and thanks for registering him can you upload a photo or send one to admin@doglost.co.uk a.s.a.p. we will do all we can to help you in your search for him.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  Posters can be printed on a photo has been uploaded by selecting Dog Poster 1  just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Contact DW’s, rescues, vets in area and surrounding areas, also leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Do update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc and if you have started postering, you can add a comment by selecting  Add a comment just above comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan

Hope this info is useful. Checked dog lost 9.15 this morning, as i got a call from hubby to say he had seen a large white german shepard at 5.00am this morning in Northwich town centre at rear of m&s, last seen heading towards matalan. Would not come to hubby. Nothing on dog lost when checked at 9.15, so rang dog warden for that area, who said they had no reports, but would make a note. Is it possible to have contact details & if spotted again hubby will contact owner, would they mind a very early call.

Paula Marie thanks for the info, he has been seen around the Northwich area so could well be him, he is weary of strangers (typical GSD).  If you could leave food for him and try to keep him in the area that would be great, owners contact number is above.  Do not try to catch him but just try and gain his trust.  Thanks Janx
