Assume Molly is neutered? As out of character for Molly not to return as she usually does, she is probably traped somewhere. Check ALL outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in or behind an object within especially if timid. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines which rotates so they can squeeze into very small spaces about 2"/3" wide (7/7/5 cm) So has she mamaged to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult.. Check trees any deckings too. Empty contents of the hoover onto the gardrn as her scent will be there; empty litter tray contents too. Please DO NO#t leave the litter box/tray outside as other cats could use it, and it may confuse, and upset the cat. Put some tuna/sadines or warm chicken in her dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to thw garden. Try a squaky toy as it may attract her attention. Just because you can`t see a cat, doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Take a good walk around the area hoding an object with her scent on, and rattle sonme Dreamies. Someone maybe feeding Molly. (Common problem) When it`s nightfall, and you are searchinbg use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post in shops; post offices too, if you can. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper too, in case she has climbed into a vehicle which isn`t that uncommon for many to do. Also is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of their own territory. The chased cat will not usually return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Paws xd.
